Every person is just as important as every one else.
We all are different, we all have different parts that we bring to each other.
What one is lacking in, others are gifted in.
But unless we all work together to become as one, unless we are all helping each other and growing and learning how to be the best we can be for the Body of Christ, something is missing from us all.
Problems are sometimes because of our choices.
And sometimes they are because of things that happen that are out of our control.
But either way it is knowing that all we go through has a greater purpose than just the suffering.
It's what we can learn from it and share with others as we do all for the Lord.
Has God brought you to a place of nothingness?
Be still and know that He really is God.
When this happens, your nothingness will be turned into something you will value for the rest of your life
How often do we look to others to get advice to solve our problems?
How many times do we run to the phone (or email) to share all the stuff we have going on in our lives?
Why do we do that?
God is the source of our help in times of trouble.
He is our refuge and strength.
He alone can work things out for our good.
So why, then, do we not go directly to Him first?
Take the time today, and every day, to stop for a moment and think of someone you can encourage by just a kind word or a small token.
How often do we look at things through our own eyes, our own preferences or our own past?
Can we look past ourselves and look at others through their own eyes and as Jesus sees them?
Be sensitive to God's Spirit in every area of your life.
Find simple ways of sharing the gifts He has given you with the people around you.
You will, in turn, find yourself filled with joy and contentment, as you become His hand, extended to a hurting world.
Remember, your life is a gift from God - what you do with your life is your gift to Him.
Sometimes what we need to do is very simple and plain,
isn't it?
I need to handle those around me justly -- practicing patience and dealing with others in fairness, without partiality.
I need to practice mercy -- blessing others in need with what they don't deserve but so greatly need.
I need to walk humbly with my AbbaFather -- knowing that without his grace and help I will fail.
